Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead daily meat department operations in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help supervise staff, ensure product quality, and maintain inventory accuracy while upholding company standards.

In Bucks County, you will assist with merchandising, stock control, and safe handling practices, supporting a collaborative team and ensuring compliant processes across the department.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Support and supervise department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays.
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and product rotation
• Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily warehouse or retail environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
