You will help supervise staff and maintain efficient daily workflows, with a focus on safety and presentation in a warehouse/retail setting.

The role involves hands-on inventory management, merchandizing support, and collaboration with teammates to meet customer needs while upholding food safety and company policies.

• Strong product handling and inventory practices.
• Ability to identify product quality issues and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and product rotation
• Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items
• Support and supervise department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies

• Support daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily warehouse or retail environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
