Jetro Restaurant Depot in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the meat department, ensure product quality, accuracy of inventory, and consistent execution of company standards.

This role involves supervising staff, assisting with merchandising and displays, coordinating receiving, maintaining health and safety practices, and keeping the department organized and compliant in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in meat, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of product handling and inventory practices.
• Ability to identify product quality issues and maintain safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and product rotation.
• Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Support and supervise department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays.
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies.

• Support daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily warehouse or retail environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
