Mathnasium of Chesapeake is seeking a part-time Assistant Director, with potential to develop into a part-time salaried Center Director position.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing learning plans.
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including responding to leads and enrolling students.
• Build relationships with families and communicate student progress to provide exceptional customer service.
• Lead and coach team members to deliver effective instruction.
• Manage student progress and engagement.
• Mentor instructional staff through on-the-job training.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid sessions using Mathnasium methods.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials.
• Maintain a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks.

Work Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 2 pm - 8 pm
• Saturday: 9:30 am - 1 pm

Qualifications

• Proficiency in math through at least Algebra I.

Applicants must take a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
