Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an Assistant Materials Planner for our Fremont, OH facility. Join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment in the Materials and Production planning department.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, communication, and adaptability, with a Monday–Friday first shift and optional Saturday hours. Starting pay is $27.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, EAP, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Excel; strong math and analytical skills.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Prior supply chain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must perform cycle counting activities.
• Order materials for the Plant.
• Maintain inventory levels.
• Connect with vendors and transportation companies.
• Provide outstanding service by leading and resolving supplier issues.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure supplies or deliveries can support schedule, and adjust schedules due to material planning issues.
• Assure timely manufacture of all finished products through scheduling of production.
• Updating and communicating set-up changes.
• Participate in production planning.
• Ensure compliance with KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management Systems) standards.
• Participates in internal audit programs (GMP, BOS/Safety, QRMP, KHMS).
• Investigates initial root cause of material issues.
• Attend daily directional meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement projects.

Successful candidates must be willing to work as an integral part of our Materials and Production planning department to support production operations Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. Successful candidate should possess good communication and time management skills.* **Currently hiring for first shift non-union hourly position.
