A leading company is seeking an Assistant Material Laboratory Manager to supervise lab staff and coordinate testing activities. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing training programs, and overseeing material testing. Ideal candidates will have a Professional Engineer registration and relevant experience.
The Department of Transportation and Public Works has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Laboratory Manager in the Construction Materials Lab, Construction Division. This position will be responsible for coordinating Materials Lab testing & inspection activities and supervising subordinate lab staff.
Communicate with municipal officials and agencies to plan and schedule testing activities. Review reports for accuracy, inform representatives of non-compliance, compile reports, and forecast testing activity for budgeting.
Plan and budget for AASHTO laboratory certifications, ensure compliance with certification requirements, and coordinate training and certification programs for staff.
Assist IT Department with hardware/software maintenance, database management, and staff training on policies and software. Perform other duties as required.
