You will be the hands-on engine of a lean marketing team: turning plans into campaigns, campaigns into visibility, and visibility into enrolled learners. In a small team, you carry full responsibility for your areas, not just support tasks.
What You Will Own
- Targeted acquisition campaigns: plan and run focused campaigns that bring qualified learners to Brightside, from choosing the audience to outreach, partnerships and follow-up. Track leads and conversions by source.
- PR and partnerships: execute PR packages and activities, including media pitches, press notes, collaborations and community outreach.
- Branding: deliver campaigns and activities that make Brightside memorable, and keep our look, tone and message consistent everywhere.
- Digital marketing: run our social channels, email and website presence. Build the content calendar, track engagement and growth, and keep every channel active.
- Content: create and coordinate written, visual and short-video content for all of the above.
- Reporting and coordination: share clear weekly numbers and work with the sales, academic and design teams.
Who You Are (Must Have)
- 2 to 5 years in marketing, brand, PR or growth, ideally at an edtech (education technology) company, startup or agency
- A record of campaigns you ran yourself, with results you can describe in numbers
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Comfort with analytics, trackers and simple reporting
Nice to Have
- Media or PR contacts
- Community-building experience
- Basic design or video skills
What Sets You Apart
You take initiative and keep things moving at pace. You welcome feedback and use it quickly. You follow through, keep your manager informed, and are committed to helping your team win.
What This Role Asks of You
We would rather be upfront. This role suits you if the following sounds exciting, not exhausting:
- Ownership: you take things from brief to result without being chased
- Results first: you are measured on outcomes every week, not hours logged
- Speed: same-day follow-ups and quick decisions
- Flexible availability: launches, events and PR moments may sometimes need early mornings, late evenings or weekend support
- Working under direction: you follow the agreed plan, raise concerns early, and commit fully once a decision is made
- Full focus: this is a full-time role and must be your primary professional commitment
- Remote readiness: reliable internet, power backup, a quiet workspace and camera-on availability for reviews
Education
Any graduate. BBA, BCom, or BA (English, Mass Communication, Journalism) or Marketing preferred. MBA/PGDM is a plus, not mandatory.
