Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring for an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery on the night shift (7p–7a) as part of a full-time team. You will learn to operate high-speed bindery equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and help maintain product quality on a fast-paced production floor.

No prior bindery experience is required; training is provided. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance with opportunities for overtime and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanical inclination and comfort using basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Pride in delivering quality work.
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work with the team to hit daily production goals.

What You'll Do

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
