Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring for an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery on the night shift. We train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and join a 6-person team on a full-time night shift. Competitive pay with overtime opportunities and shift differential are offered.

You will learn setup and operation of cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders, monitor quality, and help maintain a safe, organized workspace on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing, warehouse, or trades.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Pride in doing quality work.
• Reliable, team player.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

It's a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
