Sheridan Ohio is hiring for an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery on the night shift (7p–7a). This full-time role trains you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to the production of books and printed materials.

We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals with teamwork spirit who can read measurements and follow instructions. The job offers overtime opportunities, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a path to long-term career growth in print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanical incline and comfortable using basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Take pride in doing quality work and showing up reliably.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What You'll Do

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
