Framatome is seeking an Early Career Chemical Engineer to join our Richland, WA team. This full-time role focuses on applying chemical engineering fundamentals to support the operation of the commercial nuclear fleet and to help prepare for the next generation of reactors.

You will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers, work on innovative energy solutions, and may travel occasionally to support projects. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and advancing clean energy worldwide.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree (advanced degree preferred).
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities and writing/communication skills.
• Exposure to CAD modeling and basic programming skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $71,000 - $92,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
