Job description

We’re looking for a hospitality-driven leader to oversee our VIP experience and help grow VIP sales. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced nightlife environment, loves connecting with guests, and knows how to balance great hospitality with strong sales.

The Assistant General Manager, VIP Sales & Experience will take ownership of VIP operations during venue operating hours — from reservations and table management to guest relationships, team leadership, and revenue opportunities.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee VIP operations and ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival through the end of the night
  • Manage incoming VIP inquiries and reservations across email, phone, reservation platforms, and walk-ups
  • Review reservations, special requests, birthdays, large parties, and high-profile guests before each shift
  • Work closely with VIP hosts and servers on table assignments, promotions, reservations, and nightly expectations
  • Build relationships with VIP guests and table hosts, checking in throughout the evening and ensuring their needs are met
  • Identify opportunities to drive VIP sales, upsell experiences, and maximize available table inventory
  • Monitor table pacing, bottle service, presentations, and overall service standards
  • Assist hosts with seating and table management during high-volume periods
  • Support servers with guest requests, sales opportunities, and problem resolution
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the VIP team throughout the night
  • Coach and support staff while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and hospitality
  • Coordinate closely with security and management to keep communication and operations running smoothly
  • Track reservations, table status, guest notes, and noteworthy incidents throughout the evening
  • Complete end-of-night reporting and recap VIP sales, guest feedback, staffing notes, and opportunities for improvement
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is outgoing, organized, sales-minded, and genuinely enjoys creating memorable guest experiences. The right person is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions in the moment, building relationships with guests, and jumping in wherever needed.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in nightlife or high-volume hospitality
  • Proven track record of driving sales and generating revenue
  • Strong guest relationship and customer service skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be available every Friday and Saturday night, with flexibility for additional operating nights and special events as needed
Schedule & Commitment

This is an operations-focused role with the majority of the on-site commitment occurring during venue operating hours. Friday and Saturday night availability is required, but there is not a traditional Monday–Friday on-site management schedule associated with the position.

Because of this structure, the role can work well for someone who has another job or professional commitment during the week, provided they can consistently meet the required weekend schedule and responsibilities of the position.

  • Above all, this person should lead by example and understand that a great VIP program is equal parts hospitality, relationships, sales, and execution.
