This role offers knowledge and experience necessary for promotion to higher management positions, under the guidance of experienced personnel. A well-defined training program will be provided to help you develop within our management structure. Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, sports-minded, with solid customer service backgrounds and/or relevant educational paths suited for the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Performing customer sales and service
• Merchandising and ensuring compliance with all company policies
• Answering customer inquiries via telephone
• Setting promotional signage
• Enforcing all company policies
• Learning and providing product descriptions
• Proposing add-on sales
• Checking and retrieving merchandise from storage areas
• Organizing, restocking, and cleaning merchandise on the sales floor
• Managing store opening and closing procedures
• Training newly hired associates
• Directing sales and cashier associates throughout the store
• Inventory control and enforcement of loss prevention policies

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certification, or relevant experience
• Basic organizational and applicable math skills
• Subject to E-Verify upon accepting an offer
• Light to moderate lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible scheduling

California Pay Scale: $16.50 - $19.45/hour depending on store location
