KnitWell Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for a WHBM store in Leawood, KS. You will support the Store Manager to lead a team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and reflect our hospitality culture.

You’ll focus on coaching associates, managing daily operations, and partnering with leadership to meet store goals, while maintaining brand standards and community engagement. Availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the store.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.
