Job summary

Hoya Vision Care in Dallas, TX is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Leader to back up the General Manager and steer daily DC activities in their absence. You will collaborate with 3PL leadership to forecast labor needs, optimize workflow, and ensure timely order fulfillment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3–5 years in supply chain or warehouse distribution.
• Experience in Optical Industry preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound/outbound operations, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and returns.
• Investigate issues such as mis-ships or system discrepancies; implement corrective actions quickly.
• Lead key DC administrative tasks: reporting of inbound receipts, ensuring availability of warehouse supplies, coordination with building vendors, and export/cross-docks shipments.
• Support special projects such as warehouse reorganization, layout improvements, and process changes.
• Serve as the primary backup to the General Manager; lead the DC in their absence.
• Work closely with 3PL leadership to forecast labor needs, align daily workflow, and uphold productivity expectations.

• Partner with Customer Service, IT, Quality, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support and lead initiatives that reduce cost, improve workflow efficiency, and increase order accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions with 3PL partners and internal teams.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years working experience in either Supply Chain oriented or Warehouse Distribution environment
• Combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in the Optical Industry preferred
• Familiarity with commercial invoice formats & import/export procedures
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, MS Excel and Powerpoint) is required
