Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 4459 located in Ashdown, AR. This full-time role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, runs the register, faces customers with a positive attitude, and coaches a team to upsell products and promotions.

You’ll hire, train, and lead staff, schedule coverage, handle deposits, and maintain a clean store including pumps and restrooms. Open availability, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to coach and motivate a team to upsell products and promotions.
• Minimum age 21+ and valid driver’s license may be required for bank deposits.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.

• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.

• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.

• Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.

• Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.

• Minimum Age Requirement: 21+ years old

• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.

• Willing to Learn

• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
