Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 4304 in Springdale to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and deliver exceptional customer service at our E-Z Mart location.

You will support the Store Manager, manage cash handling, and drive sales on second or third shifts while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• 21+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Must obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers quickly and accurately.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage staff schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum Age Requirement: 21+ years old
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to Learn
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
