Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring an Assistant Manager for Store 4388 in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role requires open weekend and holiday availability and entails leading a team while ensuring excellent customer service and store operations.

You’ll manage cash, inventory, merchandising, and staff development, stepping in as acting manager when needed. A valid driver’s license and food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for bank deposits.
• Physical readiness for cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum age 21+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to Learn
• Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.

• Maintain a clean, welcoming store-including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
