Job summary

Holiday Oil is seeking an Assistant Manager in Salt Lake City to support daily operations, lead and train staff, manage inventory, and ensure top-notch customer service. This role requires strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment at a multi-store convenience retailer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Retail experience desired.
• Training experience preferred.
• Must be able to open and close stores across Sunday through Saturday schedule.
• Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage skills and work with the team to accomplish tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, professionally resolving issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.

Position overview

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and assist in managing staff and inventory. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
