Employees may also qualify for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. **Team Environment:** Join a results driven, collaborative department with engineers, attorneys, appraisers, and project managers who execute infrastructure priorities with confidence and excellence.**Key Responsibilities:*** Review property acquisition appraisals prepared by external and internal appraisers.* Conduct staff appraisals for land and easement acquisitions.* Supervise negotiations, relocations, and closings for rights needed on improvement projects.* Stay current with federal policies and regulations governing right‐of‐way acquisition and relocation.* Consult with engineers, appraisers, attorneys, real estate representatives, government officials, and the public on land acquisition matters.* Provide technical expertise to staff on appraisals, complex negotiations, and property acquisition processes.* Oversee preparation of legal descriptions used in appraisals for land acquisitions.* Serve in the Manager of Right‐of‐Way’s absence.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Minimum Qualifications:**Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and one year of relevant professional experience. State of Missouri Real Estate Agent licensure. State of Missouri Real Estate Appraiser licensure (Licensed, Certified Residential, or General Appraiser).**Special Requirements:** Obtain and maintain status as a licensed Missouri notary within six months of hire. Maintain active Missouri licensure as both a Real Estate Agent and Real Estate Appraiser.**Pre-Employment Process Requirements:**Applicants will be evaluated based on relevant education, experience, responses to supplemental questions, and other work-related information provided on the application.
