Responsibilities and Duties

- Prepare and maintain up-to-date research templates for various countries on topics including:
- Entity setup options for foreign investors
- Compliance requirements across countries
- Human resource laws and regulations, including:
- Expat employees
- Recruitment
- Employment contracts
- Mandatory and supplementary benefits
- Payroll
- Stock options and equity compensation
- Terminations
Research and analyze tax laws such as income tax, corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes.Understand and interpret accounting requirements and laws like anti-corruption, data privacy, commercial leases, etc.Assist in the preparation of quarterly newsletters.Conduct research, analysis, advisory, and consulting based on client requirements or queries.Lead research projects by selecting appropriate methods, supervising the research team, and presenting findings.Provide feedback to junior researchers on research approach and output.Maintain a good understanding of legal regulations worldwide.Mentor team members to reach their full potential.Supervise daily activities of team members to ensure timely completion of research projects.Coordinate with management to set research priorities and develop roadmaps.Proactively identify and address issues related to process compliance, errors, or deviations.Analyze and resolve research issues promptly and accurately.Ensure team training and identify periodic training needs.
