A popular Japanese quick-service restaurant located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a multicultural team. The restaurant is already open and enjoys steady customer traffic, particularly from Japanese and Asian communities.

Essential Duties

• Manage daily restaurant operations (Front and Back of House) to ensure efficient workflow, food quality, and guest satisfaction.


• Supervise, train, and motivate a multicultural team of 10–15 employees, fostering teamwork and accountability.


• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including Japanese dining standards.


• Handle scheduling, labor management, and cost control to achieve operational and financial targets.

Working Hours / Style

• Two fixed days off per week (weekends not guaranteed).


• On-site only; no hybrid or remote option.

Salary / Benefits
