Job summary

Pinnacle Park Apartments in Knoxville, TN seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily property operations under the supervision of the Community Manager. Responsibilities include processing HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit applications, rent collections, and coordinating maintenance to maintain curb appeal and lease turnover.

Ideal candidates bring experience in affordable housing or customer service, supervisory capabilities, and a strong commitment to community involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing is preferred.
• Customer service or sales experience is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Passion or interest in giving back to the community.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rental applications through HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit.
• Manage rent collections and annual re-certifications.
• Ensure compliance and handle filing and customer service.
• Oversee maintenance functions for curb appeal, unit turns and work orders.
• Supervise office staff such as Leasing Agent.

Your Role on the Team

Pinnacle Park Apartmentsis an 200 unit affordable family community in Knoxville, TN. Our Assistant Community Manager's role is responsible for the overall functions of one of our properties. This position will be underneath our community manager who will help lead and oversee a variety of functions at the property including: rental applications through HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit, rent collections, annual re certifications, compliance, filing, customer service, unit inspections, etc. Our Assistant Community Manager's role will also help oversee and guide overall maintenance functions for the property to ensure curb appeal, unit turns, and work orders. The Assistant Community Manager will also help oversee and lead various office personnel such as the Leasing Agent.

Who is our Ideal Candidate?

• Previous working experience in affordable housing is preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service/sales is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• A person with a passion or interest in giving back to the community in which he/she lives.
• Previous experience in an office setting using Microsoft Office products is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
