Job summary

QuikTrip is seeking an Entry-Level Assistant Manager to support store operations and help the team succeed in a bustling retail environment in Columbia, SC. You will deliver excellent customer service, reinforce operational standards, and contribute to a welcoming store experience for every guest.

Under the Store Manager’s guidance, you will promote teamwork, uphold policies, and train clerks on your shift, helping foster a high-performing, growth-minded culture through hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Desired Skills: Pleasant disposition; patience to deal with difficult situations; self-motivated, and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Must be able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing, with customers, vendors, and employees.

As an Entry-Level Assistant Manager at QuikTrip, you'll play a hands‑on role in supporting store operations and helping your team succeed. Under the guidance of the Store Manager and in coordination with other Assistant Managers, you will promote teamwork, uphold company policies, and support a respectful, inclusive, and customer‑focused environment. You'll also help train and develop clerks on your shift, contributing to a consistent, high-performing team culture through hands‑on leadership and a commitment to growth.

Work Pattern: Shift work; may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays (essential personnel during weather/events).
Physical / Environment: Requires standing for extended periods and routine walking.
Requires lifting up to 30-60 lbs
May work in cold/freezer areas or outdoors at times.
