Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our busy convenience store in South Myrtle Beach, SC. The role focuses on keeping the store energized and running smoothly on second and third shifts with weekend and holiday availability.

You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach staff, and oversee hiring and training to build a high-performing team dedicated to customer service and store success. This position offers growth into store leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old or older.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on service.
• Act as manager when Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stock the store.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
