Job summary

WHBM (White House Black Market) at Alexandria, VA, is part of KnitWell Group and seeks an Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a welcoming, customer-centric experience.

You will coach associates, drive sales, manage daily operations, and uphold brand standards through in-store and omni-channel initiatives, while promoting growth and community connection.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
