A typical day in the life of an Affordable Housing Assistant Manager working with seniors provides a wide variety of administrative support and backup to the assigned Manager and property including the daily management and coordination of all aspects of the assigned apartment community's day to day operations including rent collection and apartment leasing, maintaining files for corporate and governmental compliance, inspections, and recertification's.
Essential duties include, but not limited to coordinating efforts between Property Management, Resident Services, and Ancillary Services to support residents; Ensures consistency with residents on all matters in accordance with Fair Housing Laws; Required to submit monthly reports to management. This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities for emergencies. While most of your workday will be during regular business hours, there may be times when you'll need to respond to urgent situations outside of these hours to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Flexibility and responsiveness are key to this role.
