Job summary

SNIPES is seeking an Assistant Manager to fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

In this role you will ensure store cleanliness, effectively set up sales and promotions, handle registers, and lead merchandise presentation. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive sales and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or departmental role is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in ensuring store meets Company standards for cleanliness.
• Set up sales/promotions with proper signing in a timely manner.
• Process register functions and ensure they are properly followed.
• Demonstrate timely execution of floor set guides and promotions.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation according to standards.
• Recognize customer needs and ensure assortment meets them.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on markdowns and transfers.
• Demonstrate leadership to drive sales and profitability by meeting goals.
• Communicate store goals to maximize team contributions.
• Monitor and evaluate performance in sales, units, and loss prevention.
• Train associates in register and Aptos functions.
• Ensure secure handling of Company funds.
