Job summary

Maersk is seeking a skilled logistics supervisor in Peoria, Illinois to oversee on-site operations, vendor relations, and delivery coordination. This clerical administrative role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership of hourly staff.

You will manage shipping discrepancies, supervise customer service representatives, maintain operating reports, and ensure attendance and punctuality. The role offers medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and flexible schedules where possible.

• Ensure follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims.
• Dispatch trucks using GPS technology.

• Supervise Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
• Directly supervise hourly on-site staff in data entry, customer service, order processing and delivery.

Education & Experience

Physical Requirements

This is a clerical administrative position in a professional office setting. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, stoop, bend, and reach. Extensive use of a phone and a PC is required. Position may require working remotely at times.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000* *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
