Job summary

Nordstrom in the United States is seeking an Assistant Sales Department Manager who excels at directive selling, sets and achieves sales goals, and is devoted to an exceptional customer experience.

On the floor you’ll recruit, train and coach your team, shape the business plan with the department manager, and lead by example to deliver outstanding service while maintaining merchandising standards and inventory control.

Qualifications

• A track record of successful results (e.g., productivity).
• Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment.
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals.
• Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with department and store managers, divisional retail merchandiser and other leaders.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• High school diploma, or equivalent (preferred).

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$40,000.00 - $64,000.00 Annual

At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men's Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
