Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, seeks an Audit Intern for the Internal Audit Department in Burlington or Durham, NC with a hybrid schedule. The 11‑week, full‑time program offers hands‑on experience supporting audit engagements and evaluating internal controls.

You will work with process owners, perform data analysis, and learn to identify gaps and improvement opportunities while developing skills in Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or Excel Power Query.

Labcorp is seeking an Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit Department located in Burlington or Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Work Schedule:

Days/Hours: MondayFriday / 40 hours per week

About the Team:

The Internal Audit Department provides interns with the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting audit engagements and evaluating internal controls across the organization. As a member of the team, the intern will work collaboratively with Internal Audit team members and process owners while gaining exposure to operational, financial, regulatory, and business risks. The role also provides experience using data analysis to evaluate processes, identify potential gaps, and support opportunities for improvement.

• Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
