Job summary

Quality Brand Group LLC, a multi-store Dunkin’ franchisee, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead shift operations and support the Restaurant Manager in running the store. You will supervise team members, assist with inventory and service standards, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

You will gain exposure to training, performance management, and potential long-term growth within restaurant management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to fluently speak/read English.
• Math and writing skills are required.
• Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Guest focus – anticipate and understand guests’ needs and exceed expectations.
• Passion for results – set targets and deliver on commitments.
• Problem solving and decision making – make good decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
• Building effective teams – place the right people and enable decision making.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of learning to operate standard restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Arrive in a timely manner to prepare for your scheduled shift.
• Demonstrate respect and dignity in dealing with others including team members and guests.
• Follow the communication guideline established in your store.
• Talk employees into, through, and out of position on each shift, communicating responsibilities and feedback.
• Deploy team members appropriately to meet guests’ needs and service standards throughout shift.
• Support training of Crew Members as directed by the store’s Restaurant Manager.
• Communicate goals and hold team members accountable for performance during shift.
• Drive sense of urgency to satisfy guests’ needs and resolve problems.
• Monitor team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed during shift.
• Follow systems to control labor, food costs, and cash throughout shift.
• Monitor Crew Members for compliance with cleanliness, food safety, and safety policies.
• Report equipment issues and discuss opportunities with the General Manager.
• Comply with restaurant, Brand, and franchisee policies.
• Respond positively to coaching and feedback and show willingness to learn.
• Hold yourself accountable for your duties and multitask as needed.
