Applebee’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily operations and drive profitability in our casual dining restaurants in Kentucky. You will work with the Restaurant Manager to ensure cost control, service excellence, and staff development while maintaining brand standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in casual dining, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• A High School Diploma is preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in operating the restaurant profitably within established practices and procedures.
• Responsibilities include cost control, customer service, restaurant/employee appearance, building sales, maximizing profits, and employee development.
