Job summary

CSC is seeking an Assistant Manager-Fund Accounting in Livingston, NJ (Hybrid, three days onsite). You will manage client relationships, review financial statements and schedules including waterfall calculations under GAAP and OCBOA, and oversee SBA compliance reporting.

You will review capital call and distribution calculations, promote best practices, support client deliverables, and contribute to staff training and development.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Accounting-CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting required, experience leading a team is necessary.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Thorough understanding of key terms of fund documents.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges).

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)


• Private equity accounting software experience a plus


• Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines


• Experience delegating, training, and supervising multiple staff


• Experience managing multiple client relationships


• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills


• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000 to $120,000.
