Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the sales team, greet customers, and drive store performance while delivering great service.

Responsibilities include coaching and disciplining staff, recruiting and training, ringing up sales, stocking the floor, and ensuring deposits are handled accurately.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk long periods; able to kneel, bend, climb, and lift 25–50 pounds.

The Assistant Manager is a management role that will not only sell our shoes to customers but also manage and lead the sales team. This role is for the person that is looking for a career with great job growth in a company that values internally promoting our employees.

What you will do:

• Greet our customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards/do discounts, etc.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep things neat and clean in the store.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the store sales team.
• Assist with coaching and discipline of the store sales team.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Prepare deposit and make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.

What you need:
