Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Marion to lead a dynamic footwear sales team and drive an exceptional customer experience. You will supervise daily store operations, coach staff, and participate in recruiting and training efforts to grow internal talent.

You will greet customers, sell shoes and accessories, handle transactions, stock shelves, and ensure deposits are handled accurately. This role offers potential for career growth within our store network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to teach others how to sell and to be a people manager.
• Willing to open/close the store; may be left alone at times.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Able to kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach and lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide their shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales, process payments, and apply discounts.
• Help re-stock the sales floor and keep area neat.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the team.
• Assist with coaching and discipline of the sales team.
• Lead the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Prepare deposits and make bank deposits.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as items arrive.

• Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards/do discounts, etc.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep things neat and clean in the store.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the store sales team.
• Assist with coaching and discipline of the store sales team.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Prepare deposit and make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.

What you need:
