Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for the management of the Fulfillment Operations (pick lines and Custom Mix) to ensure orders are processed (picked, packed, shipped) to meet departmental standards and goals including, but not limited to, safety, quality and operational efficiencies. Responsibilities also include providing input on staffing levels, maintaining documentation of procedures, escalating supply and inventory concerns, and driving for departmental improvements. May require working on weekends and nights during peak seasons.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees order fulfillment operations and progress to meet shipping date windows for on-time delivery.
Responsible for ongoing training and development for the Department.
Manages in accordance with the union contract ; coordinates the activities of the Fulfillment Department in partnership with other departments.
Monitors Departmental KPI’s to ensure goals are being met . Addresses opportunities for improvement with appropriate Team members .
Implements and maintains operational and processing procedures . Actively directs ongoing cross-training of Fulfillment employees, including forepersons and assistant forepersons .
Helps coordinate packaging requirements based on the directives of the Senior Manager.
Supports implementation of new methods, procedures and systems to improve overall operations, efficiencies and throughput .
Manages Fulfillment Operations to comply with all applicable safety, food safety and environmental laws and regulations, as well as Company safety policies, food safety and quality procedures and standards.
Completes special projects and administration duties as assigned by management .
Day , W eekend and N ight shift operations may be required at P eak periods .
This position is responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness .

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum five years’ experience in management of carriers, small parcel operations , or warehouse picking lines .
Excellent management skills including supervising and motivating employees at all levels .
PC proficiency required .
An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor ’s De gree or experience in a related field preferred .
Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner .
Warehouse Management System and intermediate proficiency in Excel preferred .
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, in addition to a full range of generous medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
