Job summary

Tailwind Hospitality is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. You will support daily operations, collaborate with the General Manager to oversee staff, inventory, and a safe, welcoming guest experience.

You’ll lead training, scheduling, and issue resolution while ensuring food quality and compliance with health and safety standards. Tailwind invites veterans and military families to apply.

Qualifications

• Standing position for long periods.
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Weekend mornings and evenings availability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the GM to lead a rock star team.
• Ensure staff training and readiness for duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe guest and staff environment.
• Assist in staff scheduling.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor food quality and service standards.
• Verify temperatures, appearance, and taste of products.
• Minimize loss through proper procedures.
• Ensure safe, responsible serving of alcohol.
• Maintain equipment per safety and maintenance programs.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock by restocking as needed.
