Job summary

Sizzling Platter LLC in Bradenton, FL seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, lead shifts, coach crew, and uphold quality, safety, and guest service standards.

You will assist with hiring, onboarding, training, maintaining inventory and cash handling, and stepping into front- or back-of-house roles as needed in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
• Deliver and model excellent guest service; resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team members.
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable laws.
• Step into operational roles as needed to support business demands.
• Help drive team performance, accountability, and operational consistency.
