Jersey Mike's Subs in Hackensack, NJ is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will help open/close the store, manage scheduling, and support daily operations with a strong emphasis on food safety and inventory control.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of restaurant management, a Serve Safe certification, reliable transportation, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Certification is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Knowledge of operational checklists and schedules.
• Ability to maintain a reliable schedule.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Motivating, developing and coaching their team.
• Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere.
• Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience.
• Open and close the store.
• Scheduling responsibilities.
