Job summary

KnitWell Group operates Chico's Lafayette store. We seek an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in team leadership, customer experience, and community engagement.

You will help create a welcoming environment that reflects our hospitality culture and drive store performance. The role requires strong communication, ownership and a proactive mindset, plus willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Assist in achieving store financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment and brand standards.
• Oversee inventory, replenishment, and inventories execution.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed; foster community connections.
