Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers is seeking an Assistant Manager for eCommerce Product and Customer Experience (Remote) to help drive product decisions and user experience improvements across our ecommerce platforms.

You will collaborate with design, marketing, IT, and distribution teams to optimize site performance, conduct data‑driven analysis, and lead testing initiatives for conversion growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), custom or off‑the‑shelf.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture analytics tools.
  • Strong project management: task sequencing, dependencies, vendor responsibility.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices.

  • Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and stay flexible to business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with web design and development agency on ecommerce projects
  • Manage ecommerce platform release cycle: business case, features, requirements, design, use cases, mockups, testing, implementation
  • Pitch, build, and test website functionality to increase performance, UX, revenue
  • Support day-to-day site operations with IT, Marketing, Distribution, and CEC
  • Represent Hotels branding, campaigns, and attributes with commercial teams
  • Analyze website data to distill customer insights, struggles, and conversion opportunities
  • Collaborate on A/B and multivariate testing opportunities
  • Coordinate with Distribution and CEC to optimize platform functionality
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing on campaign positioning on website
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and communicate trends to stakeholders

About the job Assistant Manager, eCommerce Product and Customer Experience (Remote)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with web design and development agency on all ecommerce projects
  • Assist with the management of the ecommerce platform release cycle including business case, feature prioritization, requirements, design, use cases, mockups, process maps, testing, and implementation
  • Pitch, build, and test website functionality and tools to increase site performance, user experience, and overall revenue
  • Assist with the management of the day-to-day site operations working with other functional support areas including, IT, Marketing, Distribution, and Customer Engagement Center (CEC)
  • Work with commercial team members to appropriately represent Hotels branding, campaigns, and hotel attributes
  • Ability to analyze website data and distill customer insights, customer struggle points, and conversion opportunities
  • Collaborate with Manager Ecommerce & Channel Marketing on A/B and Multivariate testing opportunities
  • Collaborate with Distribution and CEC Team to optimize platform functionality and customer experience
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Team on digital media campaign positioning on website
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and analysis. Ability to communicate complicated trends and analysis data to multiple stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with custom and off-the-shelf Content Management Systems
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture
  • Strong proficiency with task sequencing, dependencies, and third-party vendor responsibilities for eCommerce platform implementation projects
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate keen attention to details
  • Manages prioritization, can meet deadlines, and be flexible based on business requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in UX and mobile design
  • Project and product management certifications
  • Project management software experience (MS Project or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Sabre SynXis CRS, Oracle Opera database, and Hospitality (Micros) products
