Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. operates the Horsham Clinic in Pennsylvania and seeks an Assistant Manager of Dietary/Food Services to support the Dietary Services team.

You will help provide nutritious meals to patients and staff, maintain a sanitary kitchen and oversee inventory, purchasing, and staff scheduling in a hospital environment. The role requires leadership experience in food service, a relevant degree or certification, and flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
• Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager a plus.
• Food Handlers certificate.
• Five (5) years of demonstrated responsible food service experience with at least two (2) years in a management/supervisory role.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.

The Horsham Clinic is seeking an Assistant Manager of Dietary/Food Services to join our team of great people!

What You'll Do (Position Description)

The Assistant Dietary Manager is responsible for assisting the Manager in managing and coordinating all activities of the Dietary Services Department. This includes providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients and facility employees, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and assist with managing an effective Dietary staff. The Assistant Dietary Manager is responsible for the serving of meals for patients and facility staff in accordance with approved menu cycles and production sheets.
