Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Assistant Manager/Custodian (Second Shift) to join our Jeffersonville Indiana team at IST Management! This is a direct hire, full-time position with IST Management, with the opportunity for advancement into site management roles and beyond. Prior experience in any type of office environment is a huge plus!

Schedule: Regular business hours Monday-Friday, tentatively 4:00PM-1:00AM, occasional overtime - no weekends!

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE

Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager/Custodian (Second Shift) position will work with the on-site IST Management team and customers to provide office support to employees and guests. Other responsibilities include:

• Sanitize high-touch areas – Daily
• Trash disposal – Nightly
• Vacuum – 1 designated area of floor plate daily
• Dust and wipe down surfaces – Daily ; Spot clean – check carpets (if applicable) and hard surfaces for stains – Daily
• Breakrooms and Kitchen areas - Daily
• Bathrooms – Daily ; Mop and sweep – Daily
• Deep clean carpet areas – Monthly; Clean behind appliances – Monthly
• Light fixtures and vents to be cleaned/dusted – Monthly
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities at all times; Inspect the building and its components on a regular basis, identify and prioritize necessary cleaning and repair activities, and report safety and security concerns
• Ensure all lights are off; Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

Ideal candidates have prior supervisory/customer service experience, are a team player and are willing to train! Other qualifications include:

• Authorization to work for any employer in the US, high school diploma or GED required Pre-employment drug screening required
• Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent communication skills
• Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; competency in performing multiple functional tasks
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
• Willingness to cross train in services provided
• Must have access to reliable transportation
