Responsibilities

  • The Body Shop Assistant Manager is responsible to develop business through insurance adjusters, customers and other sources to assure an adequate sales volume, provide a reasonable department operating profit and maintain customer satisfaction, while controlling expenses.
  • The Body Shop Assistant Manager directs the activities of Body Shop employees in performing body repairs, meeting time schedules and productivity levels and maintaining quality standards.
  • Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect Body Shop operations such as hazardous waste disposal, right-to-know and environmental updates.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Strive for teamwork with other departments.
  • Hold departmental meetings periodically to discuss problem areas.
  • Perform periodic reviews.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Experienced in Auto Body Repair.
  • Working knowledge of body repair methods.
  • Excellent communication and phone/computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
