This role partners with the unit Manager to develop and execute action plans focused on quality and safety improvements, care affordability, and enhancing patient and team member experiences. The incumbent leads the implementation of these plans, analyzes their effectiveness, and fosters an environment where the inter-professional team is empowered to reach excellence. The role promotes evidence-based practices, professional nursing standards, and supports nursing practice advancement. The Assistant Manager is a member of the unit leadership team, overseeing operations staffing 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
