Job summary

National Vision is seeking an experienced Store Supervisor to lead the optical department and a team of associates in Duluth, GA. You will drive sales, maintain high customer service standards, and enforce company policies and promotions.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish abilities, prior optical sales and supervisory experience, and a proven track record in leading teams and managing store performance. Join us for growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience is required; supervising experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is needed for day-to-day store leadership.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to analyze and act on financial reports and store performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (review P&L).
• Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and enforce service standards.
• Review quality and remakes, ensure compliance with policies.
• Communicate store performance with General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office; provide reports as required.
• Oversee promotions, advertising and visual merchandising; ensure staff awareness of promotions.
• Supervise opticians and sales associates; ensure timely completion of day-to-day tasks.
• Assist with staffing forecasts, recruitment, selection and retention of qualified staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.

Job description

What would you do? - The Specifics

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company's policies and operational guidelines.
• Convey a commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensure all associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards are met. Review remakes and enforce policies to ensure compliance.
• Communicate with the General Manger, District Manager, and Corporate Office and provide store reporting as required.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and all associates and doctors are aware of current promotions.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates (in some stores the Receptionist) and ensures the timely completion of day-to-day functions.
• Assist the General Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, selecting and retaining a high caliber staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
