Job summary

Fresh Dining Concepts in Independence, MO is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Auntie Anne’s to lead day-to-day operations and develop a high-performing team. You will ensure guest satisfaction, uphold quality standards, and manage store performance alongside the General Manager.

The role offers hourly pay of $17–$18, full-time hours, flexible scheduling, on-site work, training and uniforms, and potential benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous supervisory or management experience (Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role preferred).
• Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays).
• TB clearance required (if applicable by location).
• 1-2 years of food service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active during shift.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 18 years or older


• Previous supervisory or management experience (Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role preferred)


• Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)


• TB clearance required (if applicable by location)


• 1-2 years of food service or retail experience preferred


• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills


• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift


• Comfortable working in warm and cold environments (ovens, prep areas, walk-in)


• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)


• Ability to taste-test products for quality


• Cash handling and customer service experience required


• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)


• High school diploma or equivalent experience


• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology


• General knowledge of food service or pretzel operations is a bonus
