Sandalwood Management, Inc. seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at our Double Creek Townhomes in Round Rock, TX. The role focuses on leasing, records accuracy, rent collection, and resident retention.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in property lease-up/management and sales, LIHTC/HUD experience, Yardi usage, and bilingual skills. On-site role with benefits and a compensation package based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years property lease-up/management experience.
• 2+ years sales experience.
• LIHTC/HUD experience required; Double Creek is a LIHTC property; Section 8 experience a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain excellent customer service and prompt responses to inquiries.
• Collect rents and post deposits within 24 hours.
• Maintain accurate property records and rent rolls.
• Conduct delinquency, eviction, and notices to vacate as needed.
• Ensure lease files are complete and up to date; manage renewals.

A growing property management firm is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to assist the Community Manager in the daily operation of our property Townhomes at Double Creek in Round Rock, TX.The assistant manager should be an organized, outgoing and friendly professional who supports the community manager in all aspects of property management. The focus of this position is to ensure the effective operation of the apartment community. This role is responsible for keeping accurate property records, leasing available units, tenant retention and assumes a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Maintain excellent customer service, delighting resident with proactive service and quick, accurate response to enquiries and requestsCollect rents and other receipts; Post and deposit rental and other income within 24 hours of collectionMaintain accurate records of all community transactions e.g. rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.Perform collection proceedings, eviction, and utility cut-offs as required on delinquent rents in a timely mannerEnsure that invoices are input and coded into the Accounts Payable for payment in a timely mannerEnsure all lease files are complete and continue to keep them current; maintain dead files in proper conditionPrepare and deliver all delinquency, eviction, and Notices to VacateReview lease files prior to move-inSchedule renewals or move-outsMaintain a resident retention plan by contacting lease renewals 65 days in advance, inspect community at least weekly (walk your property) and ensure all potential liability issues are corrected in a timely mannerConduct and supervise monthly market studiesAssume Community Manager’s responsibilities when not availableRequirements2+ years property lease-up/management experience.2+ years sales experience.LIHTC/HUD experience required (Double Creek is a LIHTC property); Section 8 experience a plus.Yardi experience required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.Strong administrative skills.Saturday availability required.Valid driver's license required.Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.Compensation$25-$27....Depending on experience.Monthly renewal commission and bonus opportunities.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision benefits, company-paid life insurance, and 401(k).Paid holidays and vacation time.Rent discount (eligibility applies).Referral program.
