Job summary

LOFT is seeking an Assistant Manager in Chicago to support a customer-focused store culture and nurture relationships with both customers and associates.

You will lead on the sales floor, model LOFT behaviors, coach staff, and ensure a seamless omnichannel experience while supporting talent recruitment and development.

About the role

As Assistant Manager, you support the customer experience and shape a strong store culture for associates. Your role as a store leader is an opportunity to nurture relationships with both customers and associates.

The impact you can have In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to: Cultivate a customer-focused environment that consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences. Act as a leader on the sales floor and model the brand’s behaviors to engage and assist customers. Inspire, educate, and coach associates to leverage the brand’s behaviors to create genuine customer connections. Create an inclusive store environment for associates where everyone feels welcome and engaged. Use technology to provide customers with a seamless omnichannel shopping experience. Support the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and developing talent. Use tools and reporting to drive operational excellence and financial discipline. Build productive relationships by listening, sharing ideas, and supporting the team.
